Lent

Prayer and Scripture Meditation:  Join in prayer and scripture meditation every Wednesday at noon starting on Ash Wednesday.  Enter by the office door and someone will be available to provide directions if needed.  There is no need to sign up.  Just come.

Stations of the Cross:

  • Friday 16 February at 7 p.m. in the church.
  • Friday 2, 9, and 16 March. 7 p.m. in the church.

Lenten Retreat at 7 p.m. on March 18th, 19th, and 20th in the church.  The retreat will be led by Melvin De Paz, who is one of the directors of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services of Manitoba.

Parish Confessions on Friday, March 23 at 7 p.m.

Chrism Mass at St. Boniface Cathedral on Tuesday 27 March.

Testimonies:  Our Lord’s 7 Last Words on the Cross on Wednesday 28 March at 7 p.m.

Easter Triduum

Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 29 March at 7 p.m.   A collection will be taken for the poor to be given to Morberg House, a 10-bed facility offering transitional housing for homeless men in St. Boniface.  Eucharistic Adoration will follow in the chapel until midnight.

Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion, 30 March:

  • 10 a.m.:  Outdoor Stations of the Cross.  Soup and bread will be available after the procession.  Stations of the Cross will be celebrated inside the church for those unable to join the outdoor procession.
  • 3 p.m.:  Commemoration of the Passion.  Mass is not celebrated on Good Friday.  The Lord’s Passion is commemorated, but the Eucharistic sacrifice is not offered.

Saturday 31 March:

  • 2 p.m.:  Blessing of the food in the chapel.
  • 8 p.m.:  Easter Vigil Mass.

Easter Sunday, April 1st at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
